CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability

This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of community settings and clients’ homes, who provide training and support in a manner that empowers people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing. Workers promote a person-centred approach, work without direct supervision and may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team.

Entry requirements: There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Applicants need minimal level of skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students are required to complete a Practical Placement which requires a police clearance.
Duration: This qualification is typically delivered over a min.
duration of 6 3/4 months, including 120 hours of work placement in an approved disability facility.
Delivery: 2 days per week face to face classroom delivery from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Fees: Individuals may be eligible for Government funding.
