This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. They support the implementation of an approved learning framework and support children’s well-being, learning and development.

Qualification Detail

The successful completion of this qualification requires competency to be achieved in 18 units comprising of fifteen (15) core units and three (3) elective units.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Applicants need a minimal level of skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students must hold a valid Working with Children Check (WWC) or a state equivalent, before participating in practical placement
